The Naomi Milgrom Foundation is welcoming submissions of interest from First Peoples graphic designers, illustrators or visual artists from Naarm to develop artwork for our upcoming Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).  

 

About the Foundation:  

The Naomi Milgrom Foundation champions art, design and architecture to improve Australian lives.  

About our RAP 

The graphic assets will feature in our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), Innovate Reconciliation Plan: 2024 – 2026. This report is managed and approved by Reconciliation Australia, and is a document written by the Naomi Milgrom Foundation that formalises our commitment to reconciliation. It details the current activities and future actions the Foundation is taking to advance reconciliation within our workplace and community. 

 

What we are looking for:  

  • Development of artwork to support the Foundation’s second RAP, show our commitment to Reconciliation and celebrating First Peoples and cultures  
     

  • The final artworks should be in digital form for use across the Foundation’s channels including print/digital PDF, online and social media. 

 
Eligibility  

  • All Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander artists or designers who identity as from Naarm 

  • Early to mid-career artists especially are encouraged to apply. 

 
Compensation 

The budget for this project will be agreed with the individual depending on the final scope of work, with a minimum fee of $3,000 AUD (excluding production) for newly developed work and minimum of $1200 AUD for licensing existing work.  

 

Timeline: 

  • Submissions close: Sunday 2 March 2025 

  • Successful applicant notified: Friday 7 March 2025 

  • Development of artwork if newly created: 10 March – 10 April 

  • Artwork completion: Monday 14 April 2025
